Charlie was born in Hemel Hempstead, England.

Brought up on a musical diet of Sparks/Beatles/Pink Floyd/Zeppelin/Bowie/The Who/Slade/T-rex/Pistols/The Band/ Curtis Mayfield/James Brown etc etc.

Learnt piano and guitar at age of 7.

Played bass guitar in many bands from late eighties into early nineties.

Writes and produces library music for sony bmg .

Has electro-leftfield project called Charlie Synphonia @ cct records

Joined The Popes in 2006 - Heard Paul’s newly written songs started recording demos at his studio...demos turned into complete whole album.
